Greetings List,

Question to do with distributing MBX applications under MI Runtime.

Can anyone tell me why the MI Runtime installation does not associate MBX
files with MapinfoR.exe, instead it associates MBX files with MapinfoW.exe?
Does this happen for a reason or is it a bug with the install?

I'm installing MI Runtime from the original MI CD, and then I install the
MBX application (install created with InstallShield Express). When I try to
run the MBX, Windows reports that it doesn't know what program to use to
open the MBX with. Everything works fine under MI Pro though.

Some of my clients will be running the MBX under MI runtime, and some under
MI Pro, and I don't want to be giving instructions to clients on how to
re-associate file types with the correct application - not exactly
professional is it? :-)

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
