Hello list,
Mapbasic 5.5 has got me puzzeled now. I've create an
MBX that gets and sets values into the registry. It
calls external procedures from the dll: "regLib.dll"
I used to get error messages which I could relate back
to an unclosed registry connection. But right now, my
mapbasic routine will constantly cause MapInfo to
crash, even at startup saying:
"MAPINFOW caused an invalid page fault in
module MSVCRT.DLL at 0167:7800d2fb.

compiling goes succesful all the time. I'm lost.
1) Do I need to upgrade to Mapbasic 5.5?
2) Is there anybody capable of translating the
beautiful error dump created by MapInfow?
