Maybe I am "Kicking against the hurt leg" (A dutch saying), but I find the
product exactly appropriate for me!
If it wasn't for MapInfo's lack of functionallity on in my case intelligent
routing and network modeling, I would be out of work! Right now I'm a
freelance consultant grabbing every tool and programming enviroment
available to build solutions using Visual Basic and MapX, MapBasic,
MapXtreme Java and regular Java, HTML, MapXtreme MT and ASP, WAP and
MapXtend and all upon beautiful enterprise databases like Oracle8i Spatial!
Take the best of all worlds and melt it into a package which supports
business processes, that's what solutions need to do!
I dare anyone thinking to miss something in MapInfo Professional to ask me
which equivalent or total solution I would use or build.
