Tony,
check the projection used in the grid, with that used in the layer/ mapper
in which your clip object resides (check both the layer AND the MAPPER) I
have noticed small discrepancies (<10m) where the projection doesnt match
(but i put this down to the limits of on-the-fly projections). If there is a
difference, it might be worth opening the grid in a mapper of its own and
re-drafting the clipper... It might also be worth checking that you do not
have any projected photos in the mapper as these can alter the way vector
objects such as the clipper are portrayed. and finally..if the 'clipper' is
in a map layer..pack the layer..there may be a bounds/ node accuracy
problem....

Normally VM easily does the job for me, and rather better than a lot of the
$$$$ software i also use...pity it cant handle faulted surfaces...whatever
happended to the geological dimension to VM?
