Subject: Map in an Access Form
Hi there every one, wellcome new year - Wetripantu!!!
I been working a couple of months in what I call Geosystem.
The idea is to:
1.- collect rural housing information with a gps+pda,=20
2.- fill a bunch of Access tables with pda sync
3.- generate the house point map in MI getting coords from Access table
4.- generate a "base map" center in each house at a given scale for a =
given area.
5.- and then display this map as part of an Access form.
How can I do the last three steps automaticaly?
I have manage to do 3 manually, and 4 with zoomsel mbx in MI. No luck =
with 5.-
My guess in pseudocode for each of above last 3 points:
for 3.- and 4.- "run a workspace from access passing house id" that =
will:
Open from MI an Access table with coords of houses
Create points with suitable symbol based on lat and long fields
Compose map=20
Select house based on variable passed from Access "Selhouse"
Zoom in sel
=20
=20
for 5.- no idea from Access, might be a return from above
Any help cordially received
Juanse
