Hi, I have been putting together a small MB application and it is "complete" barring one particular problem. Occasionally, I get an error msg saying this: "####.DAT: Rename failed. File ####.DAT may already exist or directory is read only" It then proceeds to corrupt my table and make it unusable. This generally occurs when I use the Alter Table function to drop and add columns. I am not trying to rename table and I've checked the directory (a network drive) and I can read/write to it. I'm pretty much lost on this one. I am fairly new to MB and have taught myself, so if there are any potential solutions, no matter how simple, I would be grateful for any assistance. The program is due to given to other users within a a couple of weeks so I would be even more grateful for any info asap. The goal of the program is to load various layers that are held within an MB Table, this program will be used by at least 50 people and I can't afford the table to corrupt of be deleted in any way.
