I concur.
The DBAs here who are constucting my GIS database could really do with some
good training... or better still.... some good documentation as to how MI and
Oracle Spatial actually hang together.
Whislt I am great at MI and they are great at Oracle, we can't seem to talk the
same language to get some good understanding on either side. Although, they
have a greater chance of understanding MI than I do of understanding Oracle!
:-)
I do however believe that Oracle here in Australia are beginning to offer
Spatial courses (unfortuntely our training budget was slashed this year, and
unless they're going to give them away for free.... our guys will never get to
go on a course!)
