Hi, Luis Baptista Try the following : 1- Open your table that has the point objects in Mapinfo Professional and open the mapbasic window (Options->Show Mapbasic Window) 2- Change the projection to a different projection, and change it again to the initial one (UTM ED50 (29) as you informed) 3- In the mapbasic window, there will be two Mapbasic commands that corresponds to the two Projections changing that youve executed; the second one is the one that you need to include in your Mapbasic program after the "open table" command that opens your table and before the commands "CentroidX,Y". Doing that, the "CentroidX,Y" commands will return coordinates in metric system. Best Regards, Cludio R. K. I want the coordinates in metric system. This only happens sometimes and I don't know why. I have the coordinates in UTM-ED50 (29). If I double click the object the coordinates are in metric system, but if I update column the coordinates are in degrees. The file is projected in UTM ED50 (29), I "save as" changing the projection but the result is always the same. In previous versions there was a bug that we ned to chose first Non-earth and only the the coordinate system that we want to change to. I also tried that but it won't work. What can I do to update columns with coordinates in metric system?? Thanks ------------------------------ Luis M.G.
