To whom it may concern:

I was just wondering if it is possible to execute Dos commands from within a
MapBasic program. What I want to do is create a series of text files that
contain directory listings of .tiff files that I wish to link to objects
within a map using the Hotlink tool. To do this I need to create a program
that will import the text file and add the appropriate directory extension
to it and then add that table to another table that I already have through a
simple SQL join. Does anyone know if it is possible to utilize DOS commands
from within a MapBasic program?
