hi Michael,

The easiest way is to use the shell command eg within Access use:

        RetVal = Shell("C:\Program Files\MapInfo\Proview\mapinfor.exe
c:\temp\test.wor", 1)

Unfortunately it requires that you know the location of ProViewer so you may
need to have an error check before running this.

Cheers

Martin

Subject: MI-L Using Pro-Viewer Question

I've developed an MS Access based application. I need help at one part. I
would like for users to click a button and have proviwer open up a
pre-determined workspace based on a query generated by the user in the
Access application. How do I get Pro-Viewer to automatically open a
pre-named workspace? Any suggestions would be helpful.
