Hi there,

...

I do not want to bother after what we have seen, but I need your =
knowledge and opinions.

Next week I have a planned field trip to collect some gps fix for =
education purposes (rural schools locations), there is no hurry, so if =
better i can move the dates.=20

I had my gps (navegator) running al day long yesterday after earing the =
news (10:30 AM NY time). I have 9 sats on view and I lost the sats for a =
couple of hour between 12 and 14 hrs, latter I have a good reception =
from 5 of them and the geometry have changed a bit.=20

This morning (now) I have again reception for 6 sats but the geometry is =
tottally changed.

As i am "assembling the gps" starting from a palm pilot and magellan gps =
for palm, I have been able to check sat geometry from some 3 days back =
(I just got the software). Does sat geometry changes during the day as a =
normal event? I though gps sat where geostationary, and you would always =
- if in the same position over earth- see the same sat sitting there.

Sorry for my ignorance. I was wondering if any one have noticed a =
decrease of gps precision. Do we have SA again and for a while? have de =
sats been moved or we can expect bussiness as usual?.

TIA

Juanse
