Hi All, I need to put conversion capability between ESRI shapefile and MapInfo table into my MapX app. I want it to look pretty much like MapInfo's universal translator. It's to expensive for me to deploy the FME MapInfo suite (from Safe Software) with each application (and that has a ton more formats than I need anyway - I just need shapefile <-> mi table). Also, FME objects is just too expensive for me right now. Anyone got an affordable solution for converting back and forth between ESRI shapefiles and mapinfo tables? I would be happy either with an external application or with something I could do in VB. Appreciate any help!
