Hi Mappers. I 've problems with compressed image formats. I've many grayscale sattelite image and I want to compress them. first i = tried ecw format and I realise the noise at the emty area. in original = tiff file out of boundry is black. so it can be set to transparent in = MI. but in ecw format there are there are black dust shapes. and I tried = the same thing in mrsid. mrsid is better but still i have same type of = noise. is there are any solution for this.
