RE: MI-L rowid of selected objectThanks for all the answers and pointers. They are related to two families: the SelChangedHandler and the rowid recording during selection. Neither of those satisfy my needs that I should have expressed more clearly as follows: an object is selected (the selection operation is not under your control, it is already done). I want to get its rowid from the MapBasic window. The selChangedHandler requires a MBX compiled application. MBwindow does not like subs at all. Thanks to all the code I have received, I have written an application that gives the right answer, except such a tool is required to get the answer. I am still looking for a way to do it without outside resources. I am sure that there is something lurking in the shadows...
