I started developping a tool that would help in placing and sizing North arrows in a layout. It did not take long before I realized that it could be used for other purposes, such as using part or full page templates, and I have now this Clip2Layout tool that needs still some work to be of wider and easier use but that is already fairly operational. I would very much appreciate your input about its usefulness, the functionalities that could be added, the improvements etc. I have prepared a text that can be viewed from our site or downloaded as part of the zip file, in which I have also listed some ideas. As I have already sketched some solutions, this tool is going to evolve fast, even faster if you react quickly. Keep looking at the site to find its latest evolution.
