Just like to pose a little challenge to anyone out there. I would like to set up a query or get hold of a mbx that allows me to select a region on one table and then give me the intersection of all other open tables below.
Similar to when you use the information selection, it lists the regions below that point. I want to do the same with a polygon. I've searched some of the sites for free tools with no success. The cookie cutter does nearly what I want but I don't want resultant polygons for each table just a browser type list. The same is to be said for the mapextract mbx. A simple example would be to select a residential lot from one table to find out what state or building zones it intersects from two other tables. I'm using MapInfo version 6.0 on a NT platform. I would be grateful to anybody that has had the same sort of problem to share their findings with me.
