Hi Richard, These things can prevent MapInfofrom using the printer information in the workspaces:
1. Preferences > Statup > Load printer setting from workspace: This checkbox should be checked, if you want to load the printer information from your workspaces. (I'm not sure if "Load printer setting from workspace" is the right text. I'm using a Danish MapInfo ...) 2. If the named printer/printerdriver in the workspace is not found on your system, MapInfo used the default printer, and the the default printer setting, often Portrait if you haven't changed it. 3. You could delete the reference to the printer anem in the workspace and only keep the Orientation and Papersize information. In this way MapInfo would use the default printer and try to set the papersize/orientation on this printer. Of course not all printer support ISO-A0 !! When i return to many of my workspaces the Layouts have often reverted to Portraits when they should be Landscape. Even examining the .wor code in WorkspaceControl shows the layouts to be "orientation Landscape..." . My question is, is this likely to be a MapInfo thing, or might it be due to my printer / driver? The printer being used is an HP2500, which many of you will know are temperamental at the best of times. Another thing is, this doesnt affect all workspaces, just some. _______________________________________________________________________ List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MapInfo-L" in the message body.
