Hi list

I'm trying to make a small app that takes a point as input and returns the
table-data found at that point. Basically I've done that, but the only way I
could include the map-object was by making a form that contains the map.
But I have to do all this as a dll-library, and therefore can't have a form.
Anyone who have a clue how to declare the map-object?

Page 52 of the MapX 4.51 dev guide manual:
------------------------------
If you do not have the Mapx Object embedded in a form.
Dim objStyle as new object
Set objStyle = CreateObject("MapX.Style.4)
Map1.Layers(1).OverrideStyle = True
objStyle.PickRegion
set objMap.Layers(1).Style = objStyle
------------------------------

I know this is just a style-object, but it is still referencing Map1,
without having declared map1. This doesn't work i VB6, but was the only
example I could find, that doesn't have the mapx object embedded in a form.

Bottomline: How do I declare a map in VB6 that I can query, without using a
form ?

/Morten
