We have that problem every once in a while with bitmap or any other large
file size graphic. Sometimes, if there are very many slides, it seems
that memory, caches, printer memory, or something fills up and then it
won't print. Then we have to convert the large graphics to jpg's to get
them all to work. Some times we even have to resize the graphic then
convert to jpg.
Remember that most of the time, your monitor and\or printer resolution is
the controlling factor. Any file resolution over those limits are a waste
and could lead to PowerPoint choking on them.
On rare occasions, we have even had to split the file into two pieces to
get it all to work.
Hope this helps.

I saved the layout version of my map as a bitmap file and imported it into
Powerpoint. It printed before but, after I made revisions to it in MapInfo
and resaved as bitmap, it will not print these slides. There are other
slides with MapInfo bitmap files that print just fine. Any ideas?
