I haven't had to make a lot of layouts lately, so it looks like my memory
has slipped on an item.
I manually positioned a scalebar on my map and was unhappy
with its location on the layout that was being created from the map.
When I tried to delete the scalebar from the map window that
in which it was created, MI 6.0 wouldn't let me do it and gave me
a text box that said that the text object was not editable.
I know that I deleted scalebars when I didn't like where they were
and recreated them elsewhere, but I can't remember how that
was done in the past.
Can someone please tell me how to:
1 delete a scalebar when I want to redo it
2. move a scalebar from one position to another
so it doesn't have to be created.
I guess the acronym is TIA and thanks for help on this
