Or just delete the file mentioned (c:\program
files\mapinfo\professional6.5\MIDLOCI.DLL).

Subject: MI-L MapInfo start up problems

Hey Listers,

I just loaded MI 6.5 on my machine and every time I run it an error =
comes up before it opens, here is the error message;

"(c:\program files\mapinfo\professional 6.5\mapinfow.mnu"1100) Mapinfo =
database driver failed to load c:\program files\mapinfo\professional =
6.5\MIDLOCI.DLL or dependent drivers not found."

I have uninstalled it and reinstalled but with no success.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
