Andreas,
all you have to do is save the map legend in a workspace, then open
the workspace up in a text editor (eg notepad). Scroll down till you find
"Create Cartographic Legend" then just cut and paste the "text" lines into
the correct order.

Subject: MI-L Legend Layout in MI 6.0
Hi!
I have two problems with legend layout in MapInfo 6.0:
1. I wanted to change the order for entries in a simple legend (no
thematical legend) in the legend editor, but no drag and drop was
possible nor did I found something like 'Up' and 'Down' buttons. Isn't
it possible to change the order of simple legends?
2. (Next try) To get the right order, I made a thematical legend. Well -
the order of the entries is correct now, but in the thematical legend
editor I can't enter labels with more than one line, because the text
can only be edited in a simple string field. :-/
Does someone have any ideas to solve this problem (i.e. multi line Legend
labels in a user definded order)?
Andreas
