I have pinned it down to the "Group by" statement within the select
statement. I guess there is a conflict of some description...(?) Hotlinked
data does not like being grouped!

Subject: MI-L Hotlink Problem

Listers,

I have a curious Hotlinking problem, can anyone shed any light on it?

I am writing an MB program and one of the functions checks the reference
number of an item selected in one MI Table, then checks to see if that
reference number exists in another table and if so browses the relevant
record in a new browser. The problem I am experiencing is that the table I
am browsing from is hotlink enabled, however the resultant rows of data
queried out of the main table loose their connectivity which defeats the
object of the tidy little process I have just coded! I am perplexed! If I
open the original browser the relevant column is still hotlink enabled, so
why does it disappear when I do a query within MB? If I run the query in MI
through a select statement there are no problems either..............

Any suggestions?

Best Regards,
David
