Hello Listers- I am having a strange problem with my display while using MIpro 6.0 on WIN2K. It doesn't happen with any other software. I just got a new Dell dual 1.5 Ghz processor workstation with two 33 GB hard drives and a Diamond Fire GL2 card to power the Dell 21" monitor. The problem is when selecting regions in the Map Window, it will often go blank and my selection, while still there, is not visible unless I do a Window Refresh (CTRL-D). After a few of these disappearing acts, the icons on the toolbars will change colour, turn completely black or white, or appear to be depressed when they really aren't. Usually I will have to close and then reopen MapInfo several times in a day if I am editing a lot of polygons. I tried brand new drivers for both video card and monitor, I also re-installed MapInfo thinking that something I installed after it may have affected the display - all to no avail.
