Firstly, thanks to everyone who replied, it really is appreciated. The 'answer' to my problem seems to lie in the use of an .INI file, which would point to the location of the desired files on each PC. This was the way I was thinking (honestly) but just need you lot to confirm it! Thanks also to Martin Roundill who pointed out that I could access the server regardless of the logical drive name, using \\servername\path\path\, which is something I hadn't considered.
