I'm sure someone has come across this before, We use Mapinfo6.5 and need =
to indicate on the map areas of interest. There are approx 52 areas of =
interest. We use the symbol tool and since the default symbols does not =
have 1 - 52 we have created a bmp file with the number 1-52 and placed =
it in custsymb sub dir. On the layer which will have this information be =
began to place these symbols, but instead of the getting the symbols we =
set in option symbol style, it uses the default grey star, however if we =
change editable to the cosmetic, instead of our layer, the right symbol =
(ie not default stars) appears. Anyone came across this and able to =
explain why?
