This can work for an overview of a large area but MI prior to v6.5 has trouble displaying raster images that have georeferencing and the raster (i.e. an aerial photo) was not scanned perfectly square. In other words MI has trouble rotating the images to edgematch perfectly. However, I know that MI has a new raster engine in v6.5 but I have not tried this sort of operation as of yet. --Harold Feinberg -----Original Message----- From: Vinesh Govind [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, December 14, 2001 12:34 AM To: MapInfo Lists (E-mail) Subject: MI-L Mapping .tif files This message is in MIME format. Users This question might have been posed to the group before so my apologies for querying on something that has already been asked. I have a range of .tif format files that when combined should tile into a map of a county. I would like to give these .tif format files projection so that they overlay on my boundary layer in their proper positions. Any solutions or suggestions would be appreciated. Regards.
