Wish u a merry christmas :-) Hey I'm struck up in editing of layers in MapX while the layers(spatial data) being stored in the Oracle8i database. When I try to add a feature in a layer, it says "The index column on the server is editable and no index column value was specified, unable to insert row". The same error displays when I try to edit same layers(DBMS layers) in MapInfo Proffessional6.5 It seems, when I'm adding a new feature and MapX tries to insert that added feature as a row in database it gives error as the new value is not indexed at the same time. I don't face any problems with the local layers i.e. layers in the hard disk. Any help wud be highly appreciated.
