Hello Kent, The simplest solution (I believe) is to make a copy of your points layer, close all and then open your newly created copy. Make the layer editable. Open the MapBasic window and issue the command:
update YourTable set obj = MBR(buffer(obj, 12, 10, "mi")) Here you are changing each map objects to be a rectangle which contains 12 sided buffer (10 miles radius) from your points. This is a workaround for Pro not having a "CreateRect()" function which would make the job simpler. Note that if you create simple buffers with resolution 4, you will get diamond shapes and not squares.
