Hi Vinny, I work for a MapInfo re-seller and when we changed from version 6.0 to 6.5 there was no problem opening any works created on version 6.0. However, many of my colleagues did not make this conversion at the same time. When opening workspaces that were created using v6.0 the v6.5 version updated some of the basic code. These updated workspaces could not be opened re-opened in v6.0. Therefore, we came to the conclusion that MapInfo have not made it so the workspaces would be backwards compatible - a neat trick - however frustrating.
