The message string following the HelpMsg key word can be displayed in the
status bar ("In the status bar") or as the cursor tip ("\nAs a tip") or in
both ("In the statusbar\nAs a tip")

They key to it is \n that directs the following string to a tip.

When creating or altering a button the HelpMsg clause causes the desired
message to appear in the status bar when the button is held down.

Is there any way in MapBasic to make a message appear under the cursor when
the cursor simply rests over the button (without having to push it)? Just
as the message "New Table" appears when the cursor rests over the New Table
MapInfo Button.
