I can think of a couple tools that are applicable to environmetal modeling if not specific to it. One is from FEMA. It's called HAZUS and, while it's specific purpose is natural hazard modeling (currently it models earthquakes; in the near future it will be available for floods and windstorms), it's certainly possible to use it for such things as identifying environmental hazards. Some localities are using it to identify hazardous areas in which to restrict development. HAZUS works on MI 5.0 and greater (and recent AV) and is available from:
