This may be really obvious to you all (I feel as though I am in remedial corner!!!:-))
Can anyone tell me if there is a limit on the size of a Select Statement in MapBasic??
More detail: I am selecting a table from an Oracle 8i database and whilst I want ALL of the columns, some of them require aliases. My select works when I pull out about 10 columns (plus some aliases), but not when I pull out all the columns (approx 40). (P.s It works if I do Select *).
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to how I can get this to work?
