Dear List, I have a network containing polylines with different lengths, various nodes and changes of directions. My aim is to create Points right or left beside each polyline. Therefore I have to divide (the divisor varies from pline to pline) each polyline into polylines of constant length. The start- and endpoints of these new polylines represent my resulting points (in fact these points must lie on the original polyline). In the next step I would like to move these points right or left beside the original polyline. How can I achieve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
