The main thing that causes that is if your mailer is set to send any thing
other then plain text. If your settings are for html style or stuff like
that , then those of us who can't or don't want to get those types, get the
extra garbage that comes with them.

Hi listers,
How can I get rid of the unwanted characters that appear in my messages =
sent to the list.
E.g. in my reply to the discussion on the MIF/MID vs MID/MIF issue, I =
said
MIF =3D MapInfo Interchange Format (not 3DMapInfo Interchange Format)
I've noticed not all listers have this problem.
