Hi list, I have a quick question:
I am trying to set up an live link between MapInfo and an access database. What is the difference between a Machine Data Source and a File Data Source? My MB program keeps failing saying the I don't have an ODBC driver, I get the same error when I use the MI ODBC wizard and select File Data Source. When I use Machine Data Source it works like a charm. Since I'm running an MB from MS Access I would like to set the link as and when needed. Using Server_Connect and co. How do I get the MB program to use Machine Data Sources and not the File Data Sources (where it keeps generating errors)...I have no idea what the difference is between the the, especially when coding it in MB Thanx Ben __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
