Michael - One way to accomplish this would be to create a grid using the "grid maker" tool that comes with MapInfo 6.5.
1. If you haven't done so already, combine the roads/highways into single features based on name or some other common attribute of the lines you want to split. 2. Create a 100m grid using the grid maker tool. 3. Split the combined line segments using the grid There is another more complicated way to do this, by tracing along the joined line segments using MapBasic.
