Hey guys,

I am producing a number of elevation grids from NTS contour data for =
some maps I am working on - things are working allright with one little =
exception: My grids are very "sharp" that is to say that the grid jump =
in value only very close to the contour line .... I am using the =
following settings:

Triangulation (with smoothing)
Not saving my .tri file
Max Triangle Length - MI will only let me enter very small values (less =
than 1)!!!
Wieght factor - I have varied this between 2 and 99 with no apparant =
change - is this because of my Max Triangle Length??
Exponent - Again, I have varied this with no apparant change

Now, when I analyse my grid with the histogram I only get values that =
are equal to the values of my contours (100, 120, 140, ect.) - It's like =
the grid is not interpreting points between the contours. I understand =
the trangulation forces the grid to be true to all point values, but =
should it not interpolate values between the contours??

I hope that this makes sense ....

Any suggestions??

Thanks a whole big bunch!!

Chris
