Hi Sherman, MapCalc will do this. You can download a free evaluation of the Leraner version from: http://www.redhensystems.com/mapcalc/ordering.html
more info on the software is at: http://www.redhensystems.com/mapcalc/ Thanks David Wright MapCalc Product Manager Red Hen Systems, Inc. 2310 East Prospect Road, Suite A Fort Collins, CO 80525 Phone: (970) 493-3952 ext. 18 Fax: (970) 493-3938 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Internet: www.redhensystems.com -----Original Message----- From: Sherman Garinger [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, February 07, 2002 10:17 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: MI-L Another Raster to Vector Question I know that this has been brought up a number of times, but is there any way to make polygon from a MapInfo grid (.mig) file based on slope classes. I have spent a lot of time downloading SDTS DEMs from gisdatadepot, converting to mig, and using the great tool, GridAnalyser, to produce slope maps with four categories. Now I want to convert the slope classes to polygons. Is there anyway to do this with Mapinfo or with some MapBasic addon. Would be interested in seeing the source code for this kind of thing as I am trying to learn more about MapBasic and grid manipulation in general. Thanks in advance.
