This is done by choosing your printer driver that supports encapsulated
postscript.  You then opt to print to file.
It is actually the printer driver itself that generates EPS rather than a
function of MI which creates BMPs etc.

I just had a conversation with a rep for MAPpublisher and he mentioned to me
that if you use print to file you can make an .eps file from the map window
and the vector layers within the file can be read by Adobe Illustrator.  I
followed his recommendation but the only type of file I could print to was a
.prn file.   Have you heard of MapInfo (or another tool for MI) being able
to convert map windows to a .eps file and if so how and is this of any use?
