Hi all I know this is a question that has been asked before, but I couldn't find useable results. I say "useable" because I did find way down on page 18, an upload by Jacques Paris. However that post was so old that both the link and the email address was broke. ( That's not a complaint, he had a lot of good stuff there.)
Here's what I need. I need to break/split the lines in the "us_hiway" table that comes with MapInfo. I want to be able to use the cookie cutter, using the state outlines, to cut out just the hiways that are in any one state. The problem is that the lines in that table are almost all one line all the way across the US. I did try to go to the archives, but I couldn't find any thing. Yes, it is possible that I didn't know what I was looking at. Any pointers, links, addresses, or any thing like that would be greatly appreciated.
