Hello there,
This is the first time I have made a query to mapinfo-L so
please bear with me if I ramble on a bit.
I have jus created two new line styles in mapinfo5.5 using the Line Style
Editor. For reasons which I will not bore you with the line styles are lines
of alphabetic characters e.g. CH CH CH etc.( It actually stands for
Conversation Headland and is used in drawing over existing raster maps to
show this particular feature.) While this works perfectly when using the
line tools it has the problem that when drawing over an existing boundary,
the letters are split equally above and below the line I am drawing along.
i.e. the CH runs through the boundary with part of the C and H above and the
rest below. What I would like to be able to do is to make the complete
letters appear above the line I am drawing. I am a novice to line style
editor so this may be something basic for which I apologise, but I would
value if anyone could point me in the right direction.
Kind Regards
Graham Haughs
