Hello list, I am trying to open a SQL Server 2000 View in MapInfo Pro 6.5 via Open DBMS Table. On step 4 of 'Open DBMS Table', I uncheck the 'Download data (Linked Table)' option, click finish, and get error message:
'Cannot open table for live access. A single numeric Key Column is required on the table. Unable to open table ...' All the tables joined in the view have numeric primary keys, and one of these primary keys provides a unique key for the view. I have tried creating a view on a single table (SELECT * FROM ...), but get the same error message. I can open any of the individual base tables without any problems. Is it possible to open a SQL Server 2000 View in MapInfo Pro, & if so, where am I going wrong?
