Dear Readers, We are currently experiencing a major issue with a MapInfo RunTime/MapBasic application. One of our programmers has sent me the note below in hopes that one of you might have an idea of what is wrong. We are running the system on XP. First a piece of history. This tool has worked very well for 5+ years on other operating systemsand did work fine on XP for a while. On Wed. our digitizer did a particularly large process and this program crashed. We've reinstalled our app as well as run time. We've also tried the data file that crashed on other NT computers with the same programs doing the same process with no issue. We've even recompiled the program to catchwhere it's crashing. Is there anyone out there that has an idea what might have corrupted? Or what on XP could be in conflict? Here's his note: I have confirmed thattheDigitize tools lock up when we try to use any of the Table functions in MapBasic. Specifically, I have tried the following functions: FETCH EOT() TABLEINFO() Would you mind asking some of your MapInfo peers if they have run into a problem like this before? I haven't found anything on the MapInfo Knowledge Base. Perhaps there is a certain DLL that we need to delete and reinstall. Or maybe there are other tools that are known to conflict with MapInfo. I'm still at a loss for how to fix this, but at least we know where the problem is. Thanks, Joel _______________________________________________________________________ List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MapInfo-L" in the message body.
