I have changed some the structure of our site by adding 2 new sections.
First, MI ENVIRONMENT will regroup documents about issues that are not by
nature programming questions, even if they may have some indirect impact
on programming; that addition makes the renaming of MI/MB support to MB
support almost automatic. Some items will be old ones, already present on
the sire in a form or another but not always easy to find; I will try to
update if they need it when I move them to this new section.

And new ones, like ICONS for BUTTONPADS that mixes basic knowledge with
practical solutions, such as how to make your own dlls without spending a
cent or using any programming software. There is also room for a library of
icons, so those who want to share those they have made or collected are
invited to contribute. Essential to those who would like to use all the
potentials of Runner that is a very good application launcher based on
button activation.

(Peter Mller e-mailed the list that he had uploaded Runner30.zip on Friday
to the DirectionsMag tools archives, but with all the upgrade they are doing
to the site, it seems that this file has arrived at a bad time. Be patient,
it will be there one day).

A second section is devoted to free data sets. I do not want to make a big
due of that venture, it is more to share the little I have done / will do in
this area than to build a major facility. The first set I am offering is the
Time Zone Map based on wrldTZ..., the GPL data offered by Manifold. I have
transformed the original maps in MI native maps ready for use and cleaned up
the data structure, and I have added two coloured maps, one for normal
offsets from GMT time, the other for local summer offsets.

I subscribe entirely to Warren Vicks last message about the quality of the
data in such sets. I can even warn users that I noticed there was no local
summer offset indicated for North America which is wrong, I know it, I must
change my clocks twice a year!

As always, I expect you to let me know if anything goes wrong on the site,
to point at ways to improve it and to send me contributions. And there are
some issues I open up in Icons for ButtonPads that are worth starting in
depth discussions.
