The way I have done an 'info tool' and have also seen others do the same is
to use the VB tree view control to display the data. Use standard MapX
facilities to find features at the point clicked, retrieve their attributes
from their datasets, and then display the data. There are many VB controls
that the data could be displayed in. A multi-line text box would give a
display most like the Mapinfo Pro facility, but a treeview gives a much more
user-friendly display.
