This is probably a simple question. I have a table which is not mappable which contains a list of about 300 (1:250 000) grid numbers (ie: 011L etc...). I do not have a digital 1:250 000 grid layer (for all of Canada). Does anyone know where I can download a 1:250 000 NTS grid for all of Canada?
I do have a digital 1:50 000 grid file which contains 11000 records (grid regions). Each record contains the grid number (ie: 011L11 etc...) What would be the easiest was to select all the 1:50 000 grid regions that correspond to my list of 1:250 000 grids that is listed in my non-mappable table? Somehow I have to search and select the records in the 1:50k table in which the first three grid numbers match the 1:250k numbers listed in the second table. Or would it be easier to create a digital 1:250k mappable grid table from the 1:50k that I already have? If so, how? I have MI 6.5 but do not have MapBasic.
