Hi All, In MapInfo 6.5 we are trying to open a series of DBMS tables from Oracle. These tables originally were in an Access database, but needed to be migrated to Oracle Personal 8i where they now "reside".
There are 8 tables which we are trying to open (via the "Open DBMS table" menu item). Seven are opened without any problems, however number 8 is having/causing some difficulties. When opening this table we get the following error: 'Restricted data type attribute violation.' The table consists of 6 columns with the following structure (according to DBA Studio): Number (11) Float (126) Varchar2(12) Varchar2(40) Number(11) Number(11) Does anyone have suggestions as to what might be going on here?
