The Pocket PC 2000 and 2002 are Windows CE 3.0 platforms. The MapX Mobile
release was compiled for the ARM compiler supplied with EVC 3.0 which
supports ARM and StrongARM chips. Anything that is not those processors
will definitely not work. We designed and tested the release for the Compag
iPAQ and HP Jornada versions using those chips.

Will MapX Mobile work with plain Windows CE 3.0? There are some really nice
"MobiPanel" computers out there that would be perfect for displaying maps.
I have tested MapX with a Compaq iPAQ and while it works, the screen is so
small as to be almost useless. The MobiPanel on the other hand has an
800x600 display:
