Thank you to Steve Iris. He suggested changing the font (see below for full
explanation.) I wondered whether this would work because I was already
using a font from MapInfo Miscellaneous. However, when I changed it to a
MapInfo Real Estate font, it worked!!!!

Thank you Steve!!!!

Subject: Re: MI-L Acrodist error - PLEASE HELP!

Hello Jennifer

In the past I was a problem like this but it crashed my windows too. I had
this problem under Win NT with MI 6.0 and Acrobat 4.0. The problem came
form MI and a symbol coming from the Mapinfo cartographic font. I don't
know for which reason but this font file was not installed as it supposed.
So every time I used a symbol coming from this font file, the Acrobat
distiller and my Win NT crashed. I discovered this difference of font file
because one of my colleague use the same pattern of software and don't have
any problem. His font file was installed correctly (for example my third
symbol could be for him is sixth symbol). My solution was to reinstalled MI
and now it works fine.

Hope it could help you.

Good luck

Steve Iris
